Individuals who thrive to grow big know what to do, and have excellent internal discipline and ways of dealing with thoughts which prevent them from thinking about great things to do.
Often you look at the lives of your favorite people as the luckiest in the world. You say you will never have what they have or what your mates have. Whenever you look at yourself, you feel depressed, as if there is nothing special about your life, and not your friends who live more than 50,000 followers on Instagram (for example).
How much do you ask yourself, “Why can’t you be perfect?” “Why can’t you have a wonderful life?” “Why do you not have a great life?” You need to realize that there is no time limit, an obstacle to age or limitation of life in order to lead a better life or a better individual. What you need is humility, dedication, and motivation to propel you to the top of the hill.
The best examples of great people who did great things in life are Martin Luther King Jr., Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Kennedy, Gandhi, Oprah Winfrey, and many others. Well before they were famous, they had a regular life and some of them had a tough life inspiring them to become what they are now known for.
Therefore, grandeur is not something with which most people are born, but something that must be accomplished and created. How many times did you see a good person doing something that you also wished you could, but you chose to stay in the cocoon area? A lot, okay? Perhaps the problem isn’t whether you can be perfect, but whether you can do the best.
Some people are lazy and some do not wish to try new things or fear failure, some actually do not have the desire to make their lives any better and are happy as things are. Different factors matter. These are the habits and concerns you will never find in great people. People who thrive to become great are aware of what it takes and have excellent internal discipline and ways of dealing with ideas that prevent them from thinking of great things they can do. So few with the same strength and compassion will tolerate the everyday life of discipline.
Oprah Winfrey is one of the finest examples of an exceptional person who was not born with great genes and lives, but today one of the richest African Americans in the world. She was raised to be grateful for nothing. Unfortunately, when she was only 9 she had no dad and was raped. She also lost a kid during her childhood and was soon dispatched with a foster parent to live in a new town. Can you imagine the drive that must have made her one of the greatest people ever?
You can either try to do awesome stuff, or you can embrace life as it is. You will become amazing if you want to do something that does not fall within your comfort zone with your mind and heart. Some people are predisposed to other abilities and events – like certain natural athletes, some of whom are born with a fast mind to solve mathematical numbers, some are born with a strong voice.
Understanding that these people have an immense advantage over the others who barely know themselves, they never make themselves a great individual. Does your vision include helping others or only yourself, and you must decide what you want? An individual who grows upon his journey must have good things to teach, preach and encourage others, which makes their grandeur known, thus making it the greatest.
